Any articles about CHILDREN being MAIN CHARACTERS of short stories?

i’m working on my undergrad thesis and my topic is on children as main characters of short stories. it’s not necessarily children’s literature. i’m looking for articles, critics, and other scholarly texts related to my topic. pls. help.:(
*i already have the short stories i’ll be using as primary sources so i’m looking for articles and critics that talk about children as main characters in short stories (w/c is different from children literature)*
